Today, Wednesday 26, at 19:00 live event about the Turtle simulating a turtle, growing fractals, growing plants. We will also add the pendulum example I just added to the virtual physics lab, following the suggestion Athina gave us in the last live event…

We will also spend some words about the possibility of creating a LibreLogo community, for exchanging ideas, examples, problems and, eventually, give back suggestions for further development of LibreLogo to the community of developers. Possibly a project? Is there anybody willing to participate in such an initiative?

We proposed to the eTwinning staff the creation of a group for this. They told us to explore the already existing Coding at schools group. This could be also a good idea. We’d love to hear what you think about that. You may comment here, in the discussion space, in the LearningLab mail, by regular email email..

  1. Hi everyone 🙂 I live in Adana Tuncay ŞİMŞEK. I’ve been a math teacher for 28 years. My students are between 15 and 19. I am very happy to be in this event, I hope I get very useful strategies for my students from LE. We have a lot to learn from each other.
    However, difficulty levels can be given: primary school students struggle to follow coded programming from a certain level.
    On the contrary, high school students can create properly prepared, complex and complex codes.

  3. La trovo una idea fantastica. Avere un gruppo di riferimento sarebbe per tutti i docenti interessati una importante occasione di confronto e scambio di idee e procedure. Una sorta di peer learning e di scaffolding per tutti

Per me inglese e matematica sono un “incubo”, preferisco l’area letteraria e il francese, pertanto ho esplorato senza supporti fino alla lezione 4., per costruirmi una “mappa” personale di navigazione. Mi muovo con pochi riferimenti, acquisendo informazioni a volte per caso. Potrei condividere questi percorsi zoppi che mi permettono ,pur nei limiti, maggior libertà e costruzioni di fantasia. Potrei viceversa incrementare le informazioni a mia disposizione. Uno scambio quindi 😉
